Upon registration, information about your bike is posted immediately to our database accessible to police departments worldwide 24 hours a day. Any bike, new, used, stolen, lost, etc. can be registered with myBikeRegistration.com. Registration information is confidential and will never be used for any other purpose.

Often information about a bike cannot be found when a loss occurs. That is when myBikeRegistration.com comes in handy. We will have your information in our database. Just notify us and your file will be e-mailed to you. And when a loss occurs we will send an AP Bulletin to your local police department to confirm information about your bike. We also advise local registered bike clubs in your area of your loss.

What does it cost to register my bike(s)?

• $5.00 per bike.
• $15.00 for three or more bikes in the same household.
• Free transfer of ownership.

I just bought a new bike how do I register it?

• Fill out the Registration form.your bike with myBikeRegistration.com.
• Your file number will be e-mailed to you.

How do I update myBikeRegistration?

• Update your information in the our database.
• We will immediately verify your request via e-mail.

My Bike was just stolen and it was registered, what do I do?

• Call your local police department and report your loss.
• Notify us that your bike has been stolen via our registration form or e-mail.
• We will immediately change its status to stolen and add it to our stolen bike list, accessible worldwide.
• When someone finds your stolen bike, this site will direct them to the appropriate authority so they can arrange for its return.

My bike was stolen yesterday or last year and it wasn't registered.

• Register it now and we'll add it to the stolen bike list.
  Who knows... It may be for sale again or someone may have seen it. It's never too late to register!

Buying a used bike.

• Check the serial number and other details against our Hot Bike List.
• Register your new used bike with myBikeRegistration.com.

I'm selling my bike, is the registration transferable?

• Yes, e-mail us your file number and we'll update the file to reflect the date of sale. We will confirm your request in writing.

Is myBikeRegistration.com affiliated with any other registration services?

• No, But we do share info with a number of services to help retrieve stolen bikes.

Can Police Departments, Bike Clubs and Bike Shops get discounted rates?

• Yes, please e-mail us for details.
